To use an awful pun - it seems the state of the economy is beginning to bite. See page 5 of this week's Dawlish Post - article headed "More Needing Help As Cash Crisis Bites". Increase in numbers in Teignbridge, including those in work, needing emergency food parcels, money etc. See my posting above for contact details.
I overheard this anti Sainsbury conversation when I was in the town yesterday - made me smile. A couple were talking to a shop assistant about how they had been in Sainsburys and decided that as they would be busy that evening and they were short of time that they would buy a fish pie for their tea instead of making something. However, could they find a fish pie in Sainsbury's no they could not! ...

Now here's a radical thought. You know that lovely privately owned parkland that exists almost in the centre of Dawlish, the one that's located over old town way, you know the one I mean, you can't miss it really.
