or, given as businesses along The Strand will still be open even when the reconfiguration of The Strand is taking place, Dawlish: Means business about change.
http://www.dawlish.com/thread/details/22685 It would seem so- see my thread of last week concerning this matter.
Competition closes a week today! Don't forget to drop off your slogan and logo at the Gazette offices in Park Road by 5.00pm next Monday. Dawlish: Where change means business!
Just got back from this, having bought some really appetising goodies. Very busy. Lots of cakes, and savouries, and breads, and meats, and home made chutneys and marmalades and jams and cheeses. And there was a deli. And outside there was a fruit and veg stall. Really hope it is succesful and can be a monthly event. It certainly got me into the town today.
Do you know, I was thinking to myself only the other day "Haven't heard from Andysport for ages. Wonder why?"
More info. If you have any spare apples (and yes I know the harvest was pretty awful this year) then there'll be an apple press - so if you fancy your apples being turned into juice just take 'em along. Also side shows, workshops, games and music. Experts will also be on hand to give advice on how to look after apple and pear trees. Sounds like a good day to me.
I see from the paper (page 25, Dawlish Gazette) that the organisers are hoping to have this Food Fayre once a month. That sounds great to me. Paper says to phone Paula on 01626 888123 if you'd like to trade at the event.
Just had a mooch around there. Make sure you breath in - there's lots and lots and lots of stuff and not a lot of room left to be able to walk around and view it! Took me a while to find Ellie's Attic. But taking the first turning on the right after you enter Shutterton Industrial Estate would be a basic direction to go in. Then look to the left as you go up that right hand turn. ...
Had any brilliant inspirations yet? Yes? Then enter the competition for the Christmas Hamper! Dawlish : Going to town with change.
