I was told yesterday that the black swans had been attacked by a bunch of yobs and that one was now limping, if true, what happened to the CCTV? I can answer that because the police tell me that they are hardly monitored. £80.000 + wasted by Town Council.
I have attended many council meetings and they dont like awkward questions thats why they changed the rules, questions by members of the public used to be part of the agenda and recorded in the minutes, now they close the meeting and if it does not pass 9pm and at the discretion of the chairman,members of the public are asked if they wish to address the Councillors, but of course now it is not ...

At a council meeting I asked for an investigation with regard to the statement by the town clerk (12 swans killed by dogs) Cllr Wills was asked to investigate, after some very grey emails from him, he finally admitted there was no evidence. You must have noticed that when the previous Warden left, so did all the exotic water fowl, Why? the answer is they belonged to him, but we -dawlish residents ...
They did before and have seen the council documents proposing the sale of Black Swan to a private collector, will it happen again is anybodies guess. Do you remember the statement made by the Town Clerk some months ago in the Express and Echo about 12 swans being killed by dogs, all that proved to be untrue. Was it a cover up for the disappearance of the Swans and other water fowl? we will never ...
