Don, Agreed. Today the Senior Reporter (Sunday Telegraph) came down today, with a photographer, photographed some of the relevant unlawful signs and had a long interview with one of the persons involved. Sunday should hopefully make interesting reading.
Don, If you read the article you will see they were Police trained which is not the case for CEO's all they learn in the weeks training is what code to use to issue a ticket. Kevin Parsons before he retired and before the police handed parking issues to local councils, told councils for many years that most of the lines and signs were not enforceable, but councils decided to ignore thier advice
I met the people involved today at the tribunal, and was told that all the CEO's have left in Exeter. DCC and ECC had their heavy mob there 5 of them, it will be interesting to see the outcome.
Todays Express and Echo makes interesting reading, especially for those of you who believe that Councils and Councillors can do not wrong.

Quote "It heartening to see what good use some of the money raised during my year as Mayor have been put to. I am also delighted with the public recognition that the ...
Certainly not anything like Roy, I just hate the arrogance of some of our Councillors.
Without an invite.
One of the trustees told me that Dawlish councillors were put out by not receiveing an invitation especially cllr Mrs Prowse, that was because Sophie only wanted to meet mainly children and parents. Well done Sophie.
I have just received confirmation from DCC that anybody who received a parking ticket at these locations in 2008 can apply for a full refund. The reason - they did not have a TRO (traffic order) in place, since 2009 they have a TRO. "In line with the Cabinet decision of July 2009, where possible, TDC will identify who the PCN was paid by and refund the full penalty charge paid".
As far back as I can remember - quite a few years - its only open in the summer.
