Aid to Syria

Definition of charity - the voluntary giving of help, typically in the form of money, to those in need. Charity begins at home - what a sad and pathetic statement. Several people on this forum are always on about the need for social housing, pay rises and benefits. I'm just glad most people aren't so self-centred.

In Syria thousands of people are being murdered. Somerset is just some flooding.

@OLD FART has a valid point, it is not fair to spend a huge amount of hard earned money on a house in a benefit street type of place. He does also say 'It only took the occupants of one of these affordable houses to ruin it for eveyone else'. So doesn't necessarily mean everyone. Sandy Lane toilets should stay and the other two can go.

The Foreign Office advise against travelling to Yemen and Sudan. Anyway I don't require a broader perspective. You should go talk to any business, the FSB, the CBI or other person or organisation giving people jobs and see how disastrous a Labour Government is.

@roberta . so just because i have a different opinion to you, you have to keep going on about what i say. better to post something a bit more interesting. Anyway you're right about the Tory Party they can't understand what it is like to worry about how you're going to buy food for the family. Same does go for the other parties.
