Happy to answer. We will never know if different decisions would have been made if all the grant applications had gone to a full F&GP meeting where there would have been more time to explore them fully. The grants were all tabled as late items at a council meeting which already had a packed agenda. I did suggest that the F&GP meeting could be brought forward but for reasons unknown this did not ...
@Dorian , i make no apologies for my attendance, or lack of, at planning meetings. i was asked to make up numbers a year ago and at the time i did explain that i was unlikely to attend many meetings as i am often not in dawlish on a thursday. michael clayson asked if i was prepared to be on the planning committee as they needed as many councillors as possible to ensure each meeting was quorate ...

I would say check your facts again. It is rare that I fail to send my apologies. I suspect that the December meetings were additional meetings called at the last minute as normally committees do not meet after mid-December. You also do not indicate which committees were meeting. @Mrs C .........do you get pissed regualrly? i only ask as this seems to be your default position when criticising other peole! It used to be aimed at those of us who posted late at night but now it seems to be anybody who posts anything that is not in agreement with your views!
