@ken - to be fair to the council officers, in this case planners, what they recommend is based on planning legislation which has emanated from Westminster and Brussels. Politicians make the policies, civil servants and council officers enact them. Then there will be the local policies that have been dictated by that European and UK national legislation So.......are the council officers doing ...
