Just goes to show what a joke our elected councillors are. They will soon be complaining when the wall is damaged again and the trains have to stop running. As @leatash has said, will they be happy to pay for any future damage?

It should be and will be Boris. He will get us out of the eu with or without a deal. He doesn't need the approval of MPs as we leave on Halloween anyway. Excellent! https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/may/24/boris-johnson-favourite-as-uk-to-have-new-pm-by-end-of-july And let's start calling it what it really is, this is all about a treaty, it is not a deal.

I wonder if they succeed they will be happy to pay for all the damage the next time i get flooded with sea water.

Whoever it is it will not make a jot of difference to me. Whatever they try and do, it will not change the position the Con party face now, they will still remain the under dogs fighting for survival.

Well there's a surprise, why do they seem to think they know better than anyone else, good job they are not in government would not be worth giving us a vote for anything as they would still do what they wanted! Would save money though on specialist consultants to advise on sea walls as they obviously know more about sea walls than those who do it for a living. Hopefully they'll be able to present ...

Just curious?

Looks like the Town Council is trying to prevent the sea wall works from happening... https://www.dawlish.gov.uk/edit/uploads/2700_916992485.pdf

David Allen always took the Piss out of religion and he always ended all of his show's by saying, "may your god go with you". He never had a bad word said against hiw or I don't think so, because what he said was the truth but it was funny. And if you listen to Nigel Farage, you will know what is going on.

Here's the crux of the matter " Anyone can laugh at whatever they want, entirely up to them. " Nuff said

Never seen Life of Brian, not a fan of Monty Python except for the odd sketch - was probably too young at the time of their peak to really understand the appeal. Anyone can laugh at whatever they want, entirely up to them. I'm not tarring anyone with any label, just the joke, that one joke in particular, which as I have said I (that's just me, not speaking for anyone else) didn't find ...
