A disabled guy from Porthleven has just been on Spotlight talking about his predicament, he now has to find an extra £1000 per year out of his benefits
Its false!!! this has been doing the rounds, on some of the FB Pages I go on relating to this tax the admins have looked into it and have stated its not true

If you get £71 per week and live on your own that is for all your living expenses , if you fall foul of the bedroom tax that % will be taken from this amount also your share of council tax. Teignbridge have not done that this year but many authorities have. Apathy excists on here that is obvious as Lynne and I know also Im struggling to get people to realise whats happening all the way round the sort of comments I get is its not affecting me so until it does why should you or I worry !!!!!,

Ive seen on thefb page I go on that is was rejected by the gov so a new e petition has started, they were on their way to a million in 24hrs
This is unbelievable, so give the low paid a higher tax allowance and then introduce this. Many low paid workers are struggling now and that is the reason for the high welfare state tax credits/child tax credits and hb, does this mob actually know what they are doing, I have trouble sleeping already wondering if the next announcement will affect me and yes this one will, I give up!!!!!!
