I understand the minutes of the steering group meetings will be placed on a webpage on the town council's website (not on yet though). The steering group will be meeting again this coming Thursday. Cllr Prowse chairs this steering group. On a separate thread on this website someone (Kaz I think) mentioned the lack of bungalows and other types of accommodation such as retirement ...

Just gone along the Exeter Road as a passenger in a car so took the opportunity to have a look. It is the extension to the cyclepath on Exeter Road from where it presently finishes which may cause a problem. As Ken has pointed out if the pavement gets widened then it follows that the road is narrowed. Except that.........if the pavement were to be widened in a seaward direction then the width ...
Is there any info on how the Exeter Road at Lanherne/Iddesleigh Terrace will be crossed? Are we talking pedestrian/cycle bridge over the road? Or Pelican lights (can you just imagine the traffic chaos potential they might cause if sited on that particular bit of the A379?.)
Take a look at page 25 of this week's Dawlish Post. Various concessions being advertised by TDC including one for Coryton Cove. "Expressions of interest are invited to provide mobile sales of refreshments and beach goods at Coryton Cove, Dawlish for the summer season".
