OK, I'll look into it. In the meantime it may be worth upgrading your browser to the latest version if you haven't already.
What browser and version are you using? Try pressing CTRL & F5 to do a complete refresh.
Also, the idea is that you would follow us on Twitter, Facebook or the Feed (in orange) and you wouldn't really wan't to follow us on all 3 because you would get the same information and links to the information 3 times. Also for any other social or bookmarking sites we hook into in the future. By the way, there are a lot of users shown on the feeds that have signed up but these are not ...
Rather than not post at all on Facebook I will just post the new subjects then users can comment on here or Facebook. Eventually I will see if I can synchronise them. By the way, there are no security issues following dawlish.com on Facebook. dawlish.com does not have access to your Facebook account. It could, but it would have to ask you first.
@wondering . this problem was due to the snippet length overflowing the allowed characters and is now fixed. However, I will leave off posting to facebook for now as I think comments made on facebook need to get posted on here and any replies made on here need to go as comments on facebook under the original post.
Sorry wondering, I too got an error replying to you! I will look into it and fix it.
Thanks dobbys. I am in the process of trying to pin the site down by removing old and out of date stuff and making it look a bit fresher. Finding the time is the main problem, but I'll continue over Christmas.
wondering, I'm just experimenting at the moment. I guess I am using Facebook like Twitter to post snippets of what is happening on here. I will keep the Facebook app read-only so that users will still have to post here for now and see how that goes. I am open to suggestions though.
Gliches are now sorted. There were a few glitches I had to sort out which meant the site was unstable earlier. We are OK to go now. Let me know if there are any problems.
You can now follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
