Why shouldn't people travel to the south west - or anywhere else - for a holiday, not everyone is fortunate enough to live in a nice place like Dawlish. And if there is another lockdown it will either mean billions have been spent on vaccines that don't work, or this is not just about a virus.

No-one is disagreeing that we have had months of restrictions and that people are now being allowed to travel. It is the very fact that they can, and are, travelling , that is causing disquiet. Lockdown again in how many weeks?
People are allowed to travel after 16 months of restrictions, we don't live in North Korea, although it feels like it at times.
The holiday makers are here because the government is allowing them to be here. That is Johnson's policy just as it is the Johnson covid variant that is spreading with ease right now. The blame lies ( appropriate word that - lies) at the door of 10 Downing Street.

Bloody holiday makers 18 months we have gone with very little if any of this covid shit, and now the holiday parks have been allowed to open we are going to be riddled with it. hope Torbay and Exeter hospitals are ready for it
