Solar PV isn't cheap, solar thermal should be installed first following engery efficiencies to the home iike drausght exclusion and insulation, more affordable steps to conserve energy usage. Heavily subsidized solar panels aren't going to happen in this country, there's too much money to be made by the big 6 who pull the strings of the government and likely have ministers as shareholders or ...

@Steve I agree, solar panels on all S facing rooftops whether residents homes or public buildings would be best from our point of view, but not best from the big 6 energy firms' shareholder's dividends perspective, which is why they don't care about using productive farmland or population density. The establishment wouldn't want ordinary people to generate their own energy, they need us to be ...

@Knighton If a minimum of 1 in 10 of the electorate signed a petition it could be successful. According to the Recall of MPs Act 2015 the recall proceedings cannot be initiated by constituents themsleves in the UK, as the MP has to be found guilty of wrongdoing which fulfils certain criteria - being convicted of a criminal offence after having had all appeals heard. It appears the Speaker and ...

@TheObserver Absolutely, what's equally shocking is that his Lib Dem colleagues in DTC, TDC and DCC don't seem to care about what amounts to so many conflicts of interest with Wrigley as an elected member at every level of local government and on so many committees and now in Westminster. They think they're accountable to nobody but themsleves. Local Government Association Guidelines state a ...

It must be pretty embarressing being in the Private Eye's Rotten Borough Secion within 2 weeks of being elected to parliament. The other 649 MPs will read the Eye and realize how illiberal and undemocratic he is. Hopefull the public will ...

Tactical Voting and the Reform effect inflicts more of this on the Constituency. Awful selfie; https://www.facebook.com/CllrMartinWrigley/

@1263 Thanks, but that's still a bitchy little side swipe to end on. I'd write less and not repeat myself if you were able to comprehend basic English and follow a conversation. But then that comment reflects the grudge you hold and you take everything so personally.

No need to apologise, you probably can't help being ill mannered and disrespectful. You can't leave it alone can you? who'll have the last word?

15 Jul 2024

@1263 You're correct this is 2024, so I doubt Vladimir Lenin would be seen posting any medals over in St Petersburg, some 100 years after his death. I wouldn't be 'pally' with such an angry bloke like you in any context. You've obviously got some deep paranoia going on and you're obsessed with the threat of Communism as if we're living in the Cold War period, it's very McCarthyist and weird. ...

@1263 and who would Valdimir be?
