She'll be gone by next year so one less thing to worry about.

from eye of dawlish today - For all those waiting for Devon County Council and Teignbridge to open up the road block fence in Carhaix Way it seems this isnt going to happen... " Many thank ... s for your email and I have been awaiting details but my current understanding is that Teignbridge District Council are leading discussions with the two developers and the road will not be ...

i agree @leatash , it's ridiculous.  i've turned into lanherne a couple of times only to meet cyclists deciding to come out there rather than go down the steps (they've both been pulling children).  quite a dangerous section.

She can do what she wants until it's mandatory to use a cycle path.  I can see why a lot don't bother with cars parked on it and not much space for both pedestrians and cyclists.  Until this changes it's pointless moaning unless there's an actual offence committed.

TDC want your views on proposed changes to dog control in Teignbridge. The new plans will help make their enforcement process simpler and give council staff the power to issue on-the-spot fines to irresponsible dog owners. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete the survey. The survey runs until 29 September. https://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/dogsurvey

Car Park

With the increase in population and expanson of Barton Surgery, I think a multi storey at Barton needs to be reconsidered.

I'm still not sure what the current situation is in relation to the building of a park.

Opened today at 1pm.  Great little convenience store, I wish them all the luck.

What's happening with this, is it still going ahead?  I do think the manor park should be highlighted more for tourists, it's a great play park for younger kids.

Good news to everyone living up the Gatehouse end of Dawlish.  Had a chat with the owner of Geralds this afternoon, they're hoping to open up this weekend.
