Just a reminder that David Force shall be giving a talk in the Carnival Marquee on the history of Dawlish and Dawlish Warren from 1900 onwards on Monday 12th August at 3.30 for about an hour. @burneside , I agree. Without freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and the freedom to love and hate whom we choose, the country will decline even further. Ironically, such oppressive laws are divisive and foster hatred. The best way to combat racism is through open dialogue.
Unfortunately it is only going to get worse. The Online Safety Act brought in by the previous government will not fully come into effect until 2026, expect free speech to be stifled even more.
