They also have a code of conduct to adhere to. Sometimes maybe it should be kept for council meetings but perhaps they don't talk to each other there?!

What rubbish about employing a local person. surely someone coming into the town with some experience of life elsewhere is a bonus?!

Yes Lynne good idea but not on the Lawn. There simply isn't enough room for it all and to keep a decent green area for the many uses it has currently. how about using some of the area at Sandy Lane.  A decent play park with a section of the equipment would go nice there.Parking nearby, leisure centre, skate park and the Blackdown Centre could be knocked down and a nice little cafe put there ...

I agree Fred that some things aren't suitable for the Lawn e.g. The Muse concerts held in Teignmouth but equally the Warren isn't suitable for lots of the things your suggesting should be held there.  They can't get through the tunnel under the railway lines!

My grandchildren love being read a story from a proper book, with colours and pictures and sometimes things that move too! they also love using computers, iPads, parents phone apps etc. but that is often a solo activity or too stimulating before bedtime. My elderly grandmother who doesn't have Internet access nor does she want it uses the library regularly, it's a lifeline for her, books and ...

Not all cats bury their crap, the one I trod in on my grass certainly wasn't buried!!! mind you hilarious how many comments and views a thread on crap gets....... (Feel free to create your own punch line)

or too much cat crap on their lawn, their shoes, flying up when mowing the lawn, in the childrens' sand pit......etc!

I don't want them shitting in my garden either, the garden in which children play. cat curfew - good idea but it seems a bit unfair for it to be 24hrs, however once outside they become shifting and killing machines!
