I picked up a nice caravan very cheaply from one of the holiday parks at Dawlish Warren which now lives at the bottom of my garden. Hello, I did the same thing as you and moved down here from the big smoke (no regrets!). The best place for bargains is Marsh Barton car boot sale on a Sunday morning which has a good mix of private and business sellers. I think half the furniture in my house came from there! Of course you will find some junk there too, but well worth a peek as some people give stuff away for free at closing time ...
Does anyone know which mobile phone network operates the best service in terms of reception at Dawlish Warren. My current provider is terrible (Virgin) and I know 3 doesn't work very well from personal experience...
