Exactly - so why tempt them with a ready supply of booxe and fags bang next door to where they are being encouraged to go?

But there is no need to encourage cars to a children's play/teenagers 'hanging out' area is there? And talking of teenagers,just how handy would that supermarket be for all those fags and booze.

the only people likely to be curling over and dying are the kids involved in RTAs due to the close proximity of the store and its car park to the Youth Centre & Skate park and children's play area. Not anti Tescos (but getting that way fast) Not anti supermarket Just anti it being sited on or near Sandy Lane!

Dads is considering the needs of the Mums and the kids! In fact everyone who uses the playing fields at Sandy Lane. Sandy Lane is just not the right place for a supermarket of any kind because it is a recreational area!. Also, I understand that one of the reasons it was deemed (by whom?) that Dawlish needs a supermarket is that it would stop the car trips to Exeter and N.Abbot to do the weekly ...

I recommend that we all get in touch with the local council and voice our concerns. Perhaps if they receive a large volume of complaints they will do something about it.

I agree that something needs to be done about these young racers. A big concern is around Sandy Lane and the Elm Grove Estate area. I've witnessed numerous speeding cars with some trying to over take the other going up Sandy lane where there are young children playing in the park and around that area. It would only take one of these inexperienced boy racers to loose control of the wheel for a ...
