Over twenty years ago, Yellowtop Country Park began as an ambitious yet heartfelt vision: ten holiday lodges set around a tranquil fishing lake, created as a peaceful retreat where families and couples could relax, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Yorkshire countryside.

As the years passed, that vision naturally grew. With the addition of ten more lodges near York, Yellowtop evolved into a much-loved UK retreat destination. Today, families gather here for memorable lodge holidays, couples rediscover romance, and guests of all ages enjoy the simple pleasures of lakeside living, fishing, and unspoilt surroundings. And because holidays are better shared, your furry best friends are always welcome too.

Around five years later, we introduced Still Rabbit Lodges—a secluded and intimate sanctuary designed exclusively for adults. Featuring seven individually themed lodges, Still Rabbit is perfect for couples seeking a romantic escape in the UK. Guests can sink into luxurious super king beds, unwind in private hot tubs beneath the stars, and fully immerse themselves in the peace and privacy of nature.

Our latest addition, Yellowrush Lodge, celebrates togetherness and community. This spacious five-bedroom lodge is ideal for larger groups and special occasions, from family reunions to holistic getaways and business retreats. With generous communal areas and a beautiful natural setting, Yellowrush provides the perfect space to connect, collaborate, and create lasting memories.

From the very beginning, our aim has been to transform this 27-acre landscape into a haven of calm and connection. Over time, Yellowtop Country Park has also become a small wildlife sanctuary, working in harmony with the local environment and embracing the principles of sustainable tourism.
