Miimi & Jiinda emerged from a loving connection and inspiration shared between an Aboriginal mother and daughter duo (Melissa Greenwood & Lauren Jarrett), with a desire to share their Gumbaynggirr culture with the world. Founded in 2018 with humble beginnings, Miimi & Jiinda have become an award-winning, contemporary Indigenous Art and Sustainable Fashion brand that has experienced remarkable growth, embracing culture, community, and the importance of storytelling through Art and Design. Miimi & Jiinda specialises in creating one-of-a-kind Indigenous artworks and over the last 2 years has integrated sustainable, Australian-made fashion collections into the business. By producing small batch collections here in Australia, Miimi & Jiinda prioritise responsible manufacturing and are proud to contribute to the Australian art, fashion and textile industries.
