Can anyone recommend a local pub with good food please.
Also how far is Dawlish Sands to Dawlish centre? And if its not to far local taxi firms please!!!!

About 5 mins on the bus or train, not far. The Lansdowne does good food and also the Swan Inn, although the Swan is more of a quiet and old fashioned pub.

What on EARTH would possess anyone to eat a meal in Dawlish?

She was ONLY asking !!! .. fair enough question.

I am unable to suggest anywhere in Dawlish .. see postings in 'Who owns Dawlish' ..Dawlish pubs aim to attract the Football types...I saw 'Curry and a Pint' outside one this week..not very up market.

Perhaps Brian is living in the wrong place!!! People do eat!!!
