The problem is it seems a supermarket is inevitable. So, given that, do we want one that is pleasant to us, listens and takes note of our views (Sainsbury's)? Or do we want one that operates with bully-boy tactics, being set to build on the leisure land initially, upsetting everyone at the consultation, and with an appalling record of treatment of communities and suppliers - putting profits before people? So if we DON'T want this bullying-giant - does that mean our best weapon against them is to have Sainsbury's?
Dawlish councillors are apparently backing Sainsburys application, but tell that to the planning officer who is recommending refusal (why? is it possible Tesco has a grubby hand in this with Teignbridge to refuse Sainsburys application?)
You still have chance to email with your support for Sainsburys and small office/business park to HClemens@teignbridge.gov.uk
