they were never going to build the park they just decided to make it look like there doing something by giving us a shitty temp park and applying for grants, to shut us up and spend the grants on the upkeep of the ducks and swans plus there own pocket, devon is a shit county full of useless old people who only care about themselves.
they wont even consider building a park untill were no longer interested and to old, or when they believe that the sports are no longer popular and then they dont have to build one, from there point why bother spending a load of money on a park which will soon be a white elephant which no one will use cuz boarding isnt popular anymore
Well said.....Wally Protheroe even wanted to have a skate park under Dawlish Leisure Centre. Why? Not for the benefit of us kids....but to ensure it was out of sight and out of mind...and not a nuisance. So much for having an interest in the youth of the town. They don't care at all....unless they can make money out of it. Malcolm Protheroe is the same.....money, money, money. When he did those crappy shows at the sports centre, that was to make money for his charitys....not for the us.

Why am I amazed? Firstly that I was actually able to read the first post! Must be having a teenager in the home.
Secondly at the inaccuracies - most of the money is from the Lottery People's Millions fund - it can only, repeat only, be spent on what it is given for.
Just keep watching the space set aside for the skate park, you'll soon see some action.
watch for developments in the next 2-3 weeks as work should start then pending on the weather as if we have trerechal rain then the omcrete wont dry etc
