OMG i cant wait just seen the program
The Rampant Carnivores
and Estover's "Real Steel" Steel Band
Newton Abbot Town Brass Band
Dawlish Art & Stamp Exhibition
They really need to ask the people of Dawlish what they want ,. Do you really want to see a brass band OLD HAT get real its not the 1920 huh.
Its funny when people offer to help and make a suggestion, they dont want the help nor the suggestions !!! Thats prob why they keep loosing Dawlish peoples money every year.
Live local tallent would be good , bands etc,
and some more fun and games !!! suggestion will be passed to the new secretary Mr ROUNDBIN

The pram race is always the best thing in the carnival, and the funniest, followed closely by the raft race. Let them both flourish! Also Dawlish is the home of one of the most famous of British Jazz musicians - Mike Westbrook, who did a stint on the lawns a few years ago. Dawlish should celebrate this famous resident and see if he'd do something again - with his Village Band he's really the business!

There are many talented people in Dawlish Anon, maybe they have to go out of town to be appreciated.

Or maybe they have to go out of town to earn a decent crumb.
There are no worthwhile wages paid to Dullishonians---Are there?

Talent? In Dawlish? What some guy who was on a "Talent" show some years ago now or some clown who can play the drums upside down, you call that Talent do you. It would seem that everyone wants to be "famous" and so many parents in this town think that their kid is "special" because they can do something that hundreds of kids all over the country can do to some degree or other. Grow up Dawlish for gods sake

Maybe if you used the theatre for more than just a few poncy shows you might find some talent.
Why is it not used for live bands, comedians etc?
