Dawlish Discussion

Sitting here in the topical monsoon, thousands of miles from Dawlish. I am reading in last saturdays Telegraphm, and see the headline captioned above.

So, its my usual complaint.

These prices are crazy. I was in Monte Carlo 5 years ago, and flats were that price there.

Are these the ones on Marine Parade where the Great Cliff Hotel used to be?

I looked at these on my last visit and saw that quite a few had been reserved. They looked quite small though? Not much depth to them.
I did'nt dare inquire about the prices of them!!

I noticed a 3 bedroomed semi in an Estate agents for 189k (I think) which was closer to my pocket!

My instincts tell me, that is a lot.

Dawlish is really nice, but come on.

The developer is taking all the profit upside off the table, and more besides. People buying must have balls of granite.
