Dawlish Discussion

To the person who decided to let loose with a saw on one of the trees on the green at Gatehouse Rise.

Why? What reason could somebody possibly have to come out in the middle of the night with a saw and cut a huge part of one of the trees down, leaving a dangerous mess behind them?

Does anyone have any idea as I am at a loss to know what the purpose of this was. The tree's always been there and doesn't, or rather didn't, obstruct in any way!!!
