Lets put aside our pettiness on this forum for
a while and think of those suffering in Burma
and China untold suffering beyond our imagination.
Why arent people here concerned about the
enviroment and global warming, if these issues
arent addressed there wont be a Dawlish
to moan about.

I didn't say global warming had anything to
do with earthquakes
I pointed out that there are thousands of people suffering in this world through natural
catastrophies..
I also said we should discuss the enviroment
and global warming on here rather than petty
stuff (I am guilty) otherwise we will not have a Dawlish to worry about.

Viaduct you are an ignoramus. GLOBAL WARMING
is a threat to our planet, hence no Dawlish
If sea level rise as predicted in the next
50-70 years half of Dawlish will be under
water.
If we don't do something about our enviroment
pollution will kill off more than the third
already of our animal life (B.B.C net news)
You may not have grandchildren I do and I
care about their future.
Having tourist a supermarket skatepark etc
is nothing in the big scheme of things.
As for having compassion for those in China and
Burma it goes without saying any decent human
being would.

Agree. He gets on my nerves. If he represents Dawlish there is no hope.

We can't do anything about global warming, which is a natural cyclical event that the planet has undergone peridically for 2 billion years. Buying a hemp shopping bag and recycling our tea bags will not change that and we are not at fault, despit what the govt. wants us to think. We can however, do something to help the people of Burma. Invade the place and get rid of its stupid senseless fascist dictatordship. I hear Australia is considering this. Now that would be a just war.
