dawlish holiday park information
we stayed at the holiday park in dawlish warren (the one closest to the beach) last year, but found the accomodation and club house rather run down by todays standards. i wondered if anyone knows whether it has had a revamp this year as its in a great location and we would really like to visit again. also is the beach back to normal after losing its sand? grateful for any replies
Can't comment I'm afraid on standard of caravan park except to say that unfortunately I'm not surprised. Have you contacted the camp and told them about your concerns? Dawlish Warren not exactly up market is it?
The sand. To be honest - not a lot there at the moment. It's been drifting off to Exmouth and although I gather work is being done on the groynes at Dawlish Warren to stop this it hasn't worked the miracle yet.
Don't know what type of camp you are looking for but would recommend Cofton Country Holidays at ....Cofton! Very near Cockwood, just outside Dawlish on the Exeter side of the town.
