Did any of you know that there was an emergency
planning committe meeting by D.T.C tonight to duscuss Sainsbury's planning appication, it was open to the public.
The plans for the site were displayed as T.D.C offices Newton Abbot and the Manor house.

So to answer it. Yes people did know (there was a piece in the local paper and from that and other sources e-mails started to fly around).

I guess about 50 people in the public gallery.

What delights did those 50 or so acquire?
