and i'm thinking of opening up a new video, dvd and game rental store in dawlish, charging half the price of what the current rental store does and was wondering if anyone would be interested, please respond with your views.

Me neither, used Klub Video, nothing wrong with it, other wise i'll buy new.

Dawlish isn't big enough for 2 dvd etc rental shops if your thinking of opening a business get somethhing unique

Klub video has been around for years in Dawlish. So many others have tried setting up a BIGGER and better store and they have not lasted. People go to who they trust.

Alex dont bother with setting up a shop here is far too 'clicky', is sad but you have to be born here to do any good, unless you have loads of money to give to charities and live in the pub and buy people drinks!..it is a fact. Had the internet not been here I would have suggested another town but to be honest I would not bother, the business rates etc are enormous. You would do better to buy wholesale stock and sell on the internet and not have to face the public of today!

Sorry to say it but I agree with the posters above. Dawlish is too small to have two video rental shops and with downloading and cheap rental via the internet i think video shops will soon be a thing of the past.

I assume Sainsburys Dawlish will stock DVDs its time to get out of small retail.

I wonder if they'll be selling mobile phones? We've two mobile phone shops in the town.
