Why are our water rates so high in the South West.
I read a transcript of a house of commons debate 2007 that the average water bill here will be £700 in 2009 the average for London £275.
The up keep of the coastline etc isnt an excuse the whole country has a coastline.
If you want to read it for yourself google high water rates southwest

The South West will in 2009-10 pay double the national average water rates.
