Why do people let their dogs crap all over the pavements on the path leading to Gatehouse School? The situation is getting worse and is obviously upsetting for any of the children who step in this on their way into school.
Does anyone know who could do something to stop this??

It needs drastic action because it affects all of us. (1) All dogs should be registered, they should reintroduce the dog licence that would pay for DOG WARDENS ( Council tax payers now pay for these mysteriuos beings). (2) I know someone that delivered letters to 40 addresses in the cul-de-sac where he lived, he asked them to take the business back home with them, of course he new everyone,so he knew who's dog/cat did it in his garden, the first one that crapped in his garden, the owner not the animal received the drastic action, he collected into a jug put water with it and with the aid of a funnel poured the mixture through the recipients letter box, it ceased immeadiately. Need I say More?
I have sent a email to the Environment Agency about this problem. I too believe that this is unacceptable.
So Cleethorpes isn't the only Dog Dirt City - I am thinking of relocating and thought Dawlish may be a good place to live but have just been put off - out of the frying pan into the fire. Whenever me and my young daughter are out and about I have to keep my eyes down both on the pavements and beach to be able to issue a 'dog dirt alert'!!
Don't dog owners ever tread in it???
Its only upsetting them because of the Adult's reaction.
Left in their natural, feral state, kids love to play in Dog Muck, cow muck, silage.
Getting a bit of chicken sh*t between the toes doesn't hurt.
You clearly weren't brought up on a farm.
The scary thing here is that I don't know if some of these posters are being funny or whether they are actually serious! Some people seem to be defending the dog owners right to let their dog crap all over the town! In most of the UK the law is rigorously upheld and everyone supports it apart from a few lazy people who can;t be arsed (if you'll excuse the term) to clean up after their dogs.
We need more poop scoop bins, plus maybe some poopwatchers with cameras. I know some prime areas so watch out you poopers.

If you are being ironic, ha ha.
If not, read, learn and inwardly digest. its no laughing matter.
we have wardens and dog wardens who we pay tax on our council tax for are they earning their wages .maybe get in touch with our local council get back to me if you need support
i agree with peter every dog should be licenced so only people who realy wanted a dog would have one and be prepared to poop and scoop after them .DO we have dog wardens has anyone seen them in action .It must be a nightmare for parents walking their children to school
I will be phoning the council about this on Tuesday. Where I live there is a small alleyway which is well hidden and used as a dog toilet by the lazy ******* who don't clean up after their dogs. But how the hell do you catch them?
