Someone with sense ( probably not council ) has built up the swans breeding nest in the brook, as it was touch and go with water levels near breaching the nest last year. Kudos to whoever did it.

Indeed, like my old man use to say 'IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DONE DO IT YOURSELF'. Waiting for the council to do anything of any worth you will die of old age first with these lib dem's.
