26yr old man arrested on Anne Widdicombes murder
Funny how when a suspected crime is committed and it is a WHITE, BRITISH MAN the police state it with zero delay to the national media and also state that it is NOT BEING TREATED AS TERRORISM before the investigation has even concluded, strange that.
Devon and Cornwall Police arrested a 26-year-old white British man on suspicion of the murder of former MP and politician Ann Widdecombe.
-
The Incident: Widdecombe, aged 78, was found dead with serious injuries at her home in Haytor, Devon, on the morning of Thursday, July 9, 2026.
-
The Arrest: The suspect was taken into custody on Friday, July 10, 2026, at an address in Newton Abbot, approximately 9 miles from the crime scene.
-
Investigation Status: The suspect remains in police custody. Police stated the death is not being treated as terrorism or politically motivated, though they remain open-minded regarding potential motives.
So a dangerous murderer is on the loose, possibly still in Devon.
They should release some of the CCTV images. Someone may recognise they/them.
They probably mentioned that he was white to stop Farage inciting more riots.
Since when have the people of Dartmoor been known for rioting. You seem infatuated with Nigel.
A 28-year-old white British national has now been arrested in South Yorkshire.
Being British does not mean you are necessarily English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish.
Counter Terrorism Policing is now leading the investigation into the murder of former MP Ann Widdecombe, who was found dead at her home in Haytor, Devon, on July 9, 2026. Police believe she was killed in a targeted attack around 12:30 pm on the previous day, sustaining serious injuries before her body was discovered.
A 28-year-old white British man from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, July 11, and has since been re-arrested under the Terrorism Act on suspicion of commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism. This re-arrest allows police to detain him without charge for up to 14 days while they pursue multiple lines of enquiry to establish the motive.
Initial confusion arose after a 26-year-old man was arrested and released earlier in the week, with local police initially stating there was no evidence of political motivation.
However, following new evidence, Counter Terrorism Policing South East took over the probe, with officials confirming the incident is being treated as a potential terrorist act.
I wonder how many more times they will change their story to suit the current Governments political direction.
