MORE than 100 people have already signed a petition calling for the iconic Dawlish railway viaduct to be improved. Started by county, district and town councillor Rosie Dawson, the change.org petition is urging Network Rail to ‘invest’ in repainting or restoring the town’s seafront landmark which is rusting and deteriorating.

About time us locals started a petition to shut her up and get the Brook restored to it's usual beauty instead of being a dump.
That's more important than the viaduct.
Just saw this in the story in the MDA.
"The condition of the viaduct sends the wrong message about our community".
More like the condition of the Brook sends out a message that our council don't give one iota about our town!
Dawson really is unbelievable, she notices the viaduct but is blind when it comes to the biggest eyesore in the town.
Still waiting outcome of rosies " petition " to reinstate the bridge next to the manor for the brook.
Network raill , it would cost ,"hundreds of thousands" to redo the bridge and subsequent work....its not the Forth Road Bridge were talking about.!!! Perhaps they should change their advert to 5 go painting bridge in Dawlish, probably cheaper than the marketing cost for stupid adverts.
