Dawlish Discussion

The local cost in Dawlish to get rid of household/garden waste I find is excessive these days and in my opinion it all seems to lead back to the pricing and limited 'so called free qty' you can take to the local tips these days. Anyone else have the same opinion on how you are being drained of your money so the authorities can pocket even more of it? 

I pay £3,218.83 a year in rates and the Dawlish Town council rates was set at 12.3% for 26/27 and for what! Anyone else have any opinions on this topic I am all ears.

What they dont tell you is that a significant amount of council rate increases is to pay the gold plated pensions that councillors will get. Wriggley has his 3 jobs being topped up by the under pressure ratepayers. The logical decision is to change the pension scheme to the  contribution scheme rather than the benefit scheme  the same as the majority of the population have, but you never see turkeys voting for xmas.....
