URGENT work has had to be carried out to a tree in Dawlish. Significant cracks and splits were found along the main trunk of the mature Red Oak in the War Memorial Garden. Dawlish Town Council says, following an assessment, it was clear the tree might affect nearby property, power lines and users of Oak Hill Road, making action necessary.
