Hello,
I am new to the town. Is there any teen social clubs/venues around? I would like to meet people my age. 18-25.

There is nowhere for your age group other than the pub

Newbie, firstly welcome to Dawlish. Yes, the pub is obviously a place to meet people your age, but there are plenty of sporting clubs to look at.

There isn't that much here as yet, but things are improving.

What type of things are you interested in Newbie.

Hi Newbie,
We have a very good Leisure Centre if you enjoy swimming, also badminton,tennis,hocky and I do believe women's football.
If sport is not your thing there's the theatre they're always looking for new members.
Entertainment committee always need new members or helpers (there are members of your age already on the committee)they work hard to organize lots of events in the town.
I'm sure you will get more suggestions before long,not sure about the pub though! We have plenty to choose from but not all have good reputations.

the dawlish bandstand seems to attract alot of people of your age late in the evening. may be worth a browse under the cover of darkness

There isnt much but as people have said there is the leisure center, you could join a swimming club.
If you goto the library they will have all the information you need

The Dawlish Theatre is always looking for people for drama etc .. so that may be worth a look.
Lots of dancing in Exeter in the evenings at the Corn Exchange.. Jive, Latin, Ceroc Tuesdays freestyle is good fun and you can go alone.. detals on web.

Lansdowne would be the best place really , saturday nights are brilliant in there.
