Big news, Dawlish! After months of top-secret planning, the Town Council has finally approved a daring makeover of the beloved Manor House… and it’s going to be bright bubblegum pink! 
The idea came after a “colour psychology” study revealed that pink boosts happiness, encourages creativity, and makes seagulls 37% less likely to steal your chips (allegedly).
Work started today at 9.30am on April 1st, with volunteers armed with rollers, paintbrushes, and a questionable playlist of 80s hits. By sunset, the Manor House will be the prettiest landmark in Devon.
Don’t worry – the change is completely reversible… unless we all fall in love with it.
