TOWN councillors in Dawlish have approved their budget for the next financial year. Among the priorities for 2026 to 2027 will be redeveloping the avian-flu hit waterfowl aviary. Last year, up to 50 of the town’s ornamental birds had to be humanely culled after an outbreak of the highly pathogenic disease.
Dawlish Discussion
"Community" what about replacemet bridge in the manor? or does that not count as community.Where is Rosie Dawsons petition for that , problably hiding in the long grass.!! More money spent on the manor after the 80k upgrade recently , this council really knows how to spend taxpayers money.
How about spending the money on things that would make living here better for all. All the council seems todo is follow in the footsteps of central government and spend it on their own pet projects and waste the rest, in my opinion.
Dawlish has gone from being a very nice seaside town to a complete sh@thole over the past 20 years and it continues to slide further down with the assistance of the local council, again in my opinion.
As 1263 states the walkway brige over the brook that has never been replaced is a prime example.
Also when Dawlish council asks the people of Dawlish what they want they just ignore it and do as they like again in my opinion.
