A POPULAR Dawlish cafe has been targeted by vandals. Cool Beans on the Green is the latest business in the town to fall victim to criminal damage. On Saturday night, the glass door and windows to the building on the Lawn were smashed.

When I moved to Dawlish 37 years ago, it was a lovely place to live.
The past few years, it has turned into a crap hole, to put it mildly.
Cant believe that ......!!!!! The PCC keeps taking rates money for more police and telling us how good she is doing but looks like not many work night shift or bother to patrol dawlish....no wonder thar the PCC projwct which has cost over £100million is an absolute joke when this money could have been spent putting bobbies on the beat rather than driving atound in cars and policing social media for " hate crimes".
Can't remember the last time a copper was seen walking around Dawlish.
Well it looks like the cctv installed through the Town as a deterrent is working like a charm then, yes I am being cynical.

The £25,000 upgrade for Dawlish town centre's CCTV system was approved and funded by Dawlish Town Council, as confirmed by a 2022 decision to revamp cameras across the town centre and key locations like Manor Gardens, car parks, and public spaces.
