Beware of burglars! Don't make it easy for opportunistic offenders this winter - please lock your doors (dead locks too if you have them) and use timer switches for internal lights. You may also wish to invest in external sensor lighting, window locks, a house alarm and/or a door cam. Make sure your home is protected and park your vehicle in a garage if possible. We've had several reports from residents in urban and rural areas who have had various items stolen, including car keys, jewellery, phones and cash which is obviously very distressing for them.
