Stretches of coastal footpath have been shut following a 'major' cliff collapse at a well-known Devon seaside spot, authorities have confirmed. Beer Coastguard rescuers sounded the alert that someone might be trapped - triggering an emergency response by Beer, Dawlish and Exmouth teams on Saturday.
