At Control & Defence, I believe in teaching only self-defence that works. I offer training that teaches realistic techniques and tactics in the shortest time possible.

Control & Defence offers a range of training for everyone.

However, I don't just teach you how to fight. I teach you avoidance, personal security, self-defence and the law, how to recognize agitation in a hostile person and how to talk your way out of a bad situation. I also teach you what to do after a conflict, citizens arrest methods, first aid, Victim ground rescue, how to recognize an attacker again to assist the police and how to overcome post traumatic stress following a physical conflict.

No gradings, train in normal street clothes (not pyjama's)

Any chance you could run a course based in Dawlish?

I am in the middle of setting up a women's only survival night. It will be 1 hour 30 minutes each week. It will be based in dawlish/teignmouth.

I find it very sexist that you have a womens only survival night it is asuming that only women get beaten up I know men that need to learn how to protect themselves because they are the victims of violence from women

Then if you looked on my website your see that i have a open group class too.

The women's survival course is instructed slighty differently hence why is women only.

Will they be held in Dawlish?

Dunno yet, why?

Because it will be a lot easier for me to attend if the classes are held in Dawlish than if they are held elsewhere.

The problem is thou, you have to go where the market is better, and so far that is Newton Abbot, people can easily get their from torquay and plymouth then.
