A SINGLE white line has been painted along the edge of Dawlish sea wall. The line, which is to warn pedestrians of the unprotected edge of the wall, is understood to be a new safety measure along the exposed stretch of the coast between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren.

What on earth has happened to common sense telling you not to go too close to the edge?
People are dumbed down so much that they don't have any common sense any more. This is exemplified by Dawlish voting for people like Dawson and Wrigley.
More people die taking their own lives on the adjacent railway but that gets hushed up because the Council and trades people in the town don't like Dawlish being associated with suicide and ill mental health. It's bad for business. Even if they did acknowledge this they'd just paint a different colour line on the wall separating walkers form the railway and claim network rail are 'irresponsible' again.
