TRAINEE gardeners have been hard at work sprucing up flower beds around the Manor House in Dawlish. Dawlish Gardens Trust staff and trainees got their hands dirty planting beds in and around the town council’s headquarters.

Shame the Dawlish council cannot do the same for the rest of what is left of Dawlish, but I suppose as long as the manor House and close surrounding area is ok, who cares about the rest of Dawlish spiralling down the drain. I pay over £3,000 a year on rates and for that I get my bins emptied, wow what a bargain.
Really need some taxpayers group to keep tabs on the council waste of money and to hold them to account (forgive the pun)
£80K spent on the Manor House and they get unpaid trainees to do the gardening! Get the serfs in to work for nothing! Effing ridiculous as our taxes keep on rising.
