O People of Dawlish,
For too long you have oscillated between Liberal Democrat and Conservative, and no good has accrued to Dawlish.
The town core GDP driver of tourism earnings is failing as key infrastructure investments have been neglected. Furthermore there has been no substantive marketing and re-branding of Dawlish as a boutique destination. Whilst seaside towns like Salcombe and Dartmouth fulfil a role as niche destinations, and benefit from capital inflows, Dawlish has been left to sink in a miasma of neglect.
The time for that re-branding is now.
Britain now faces another term of Labour Government - one which will cause fatal damage to Dawlish.
Your house price inflation will now be a fatal Chimaera, one that will lead to exponential rises in Council Tax.
Your Council Tax increases will impoverish Pensioners and lead to reduced consumer spending - which in turn will destroy the already beleaguered retail sector in Dawlish.
The money you will pay in higher taxes will be routed to the vast Government bill to pay for 'Equal Opportunity Officers', being paid GBP 50,000 per year in politically correct inner-city 'sink' suburbs. None of your contributions will benefit you.
You have two common sense choices.
One: A Dawlish deprived of investment, whose shops are empty due to the fall in disposable income, with no capital investment and a vapid strategy for tourism that ultimately yields nothing. A town whose residential facilities are usable only for Romanian Immigrants on the Dole.
Two: Elect a Man of Vision and action as your Emperor.
There can be only one.
