Dawlish Discussion

The frail and vulnerable in the Dawlish and Teignmouth area are being targeted by a sweet-talking conman.

Detectives say the conman escaped with £90 from an elderly resident in the Exeter Road area yesterday.
A 83 year-old woman in Old Town Street, Dawlish had her purse containing £450 stolen.

The man tricks his victims by sweet-talking his way into their homes,he says he knows them or their neighbours, when inside he helps himself to any cash he can find.

The thief is aged 26-30, stockily built and wearing a white jumper, jeans and white trainers.
