REPORTS of a lorry fire near Dawlish turned out to be a broken down vehicle, police have confirmed. Devon and Cornwall Police were called to reports of a what was suspected to be a lorry fire on the northbound carriageway of the A380 at Ashcombe, Dawlish, at around 8.05am today, Thursday, March 20.
