Can anyone tell me if Coastgaurds Cafe is still a Cafe? We visited in 2003 and was just wondering if it was still there

NO. The coastguards cafe' is well and truly gone.

Is it a private dwelling now?

I think it's going to be.

Is it just closed up then?

You could say that.

Unfortunatley it was taken over by a gobby hag who sat there and smoked and chatted all day and basically spoilt the place. Her young daughter worked there aswell when she wasnt chatting to her mates. No basic customer service skills Now they are turning it into something but that has been going for ages. It could have been something really nice.
